Alandra is a multidisciplinary artist and director with a decade of experience in Social Art Direction, Still Life Art Direction, Photography, Styling, and Botanical Design. With a BA in Photography and Printmaking, she understands the cross-functional worlds of digital and print.
As a visual storyteller, Alandra’s work is rooted in evoking emotion for both client and consumer, giving her visuals a poetic feel. From concept to creation, she guides the creative process, bringing a visual language to life that allows brands and storytellers to show up powerfully, intentionally, consistently, and beautifully. Her background in botanical styling and study of the human form lends to her multidimensional approach. Blending organic elements with her editorial point of view, her work is often described as captivating and ethereal.
In addition to her notable brand work, Alandra is an artist and advocate for endometriosis and adenomyosis, shedding light on two diseases that have historically affected a marginalized community of those assigned female at birth. She hopes to create long-standing social change through increased awareness, policy, research funding, and accessibility to diagnosis and treatment. Her advocacy work explores the intersection of grief, pain, mortality, and metamorphosis.
